"You make me melt" card for my husband using just because cards

Ok sooo Im supposed to be up here in my craft room making two graduation cards for a double graduation party we have to go to this weekend but instead im making a "just because" card for my hubby lol. I just love makin lovey cards. They are my favorite lol. My husband just laughs but i know he "secretly" enjoys them. So here it is

                             So I was happy to use a cartridge I havent used too much. I used Just Because cards and added some twine, stickles. half of a real popsicle stick and put an action wobble behind the popsicle. Hope he likes it!

#3 "Splashin Around in O.C. Maryland" Layout using create a critter

Heres number three! I used create a critter for the images and made the "sand" by hand cutting sand colored paper and chalked it a lil for dimension then I put the layers of it on with pop dots so I could kinda tuck the crab and sand castles images in . The title was cut out with the  lifes a beach cartridge font which is sooo summer-y  ( yes I made up words lol) then again used stickles to jazz everything up a bit.

                                          The little boy in the middle is my Nephew "Baby Joey"
                         which is 2 now but we will prob continue to call him that into his early teens lol

Hey guys, Happy sunday!!! Hopefully most of u will have tomorrow off to get a lil break unfortunately I have to work  (I work in health care and those of u who do also know unless u take off u aint gettin off!! lol) but plan to attend a bbq as soon as I get off so it shouldnt be too bad. So anyway back to the layout this is  a layout of my daughter with mermaid "legs" made out of sand. I used the Lifes a Beach cartridge which is a very good cartridge that I think is one of the many  under-rated cartridges! lol So I like to use it for my summer layouts as it has TONS of great summer and beach images Hope u like it!

Heres page #1 ! "Mya's First Pet"

Ok as promised here is the first of many layout pics to come. This one is of my daughter Mya and her first pet " She named him that bc she said he is the color of an icey she had lol We wanted something easy and I asked the man at the pet store what was a fish that was hard to accidentally kill and so he suggested a beta fish and here he is! Anyway for this one I used create a critter and cut the fish bowl out at 11 in as i wanted it to be pretty big and cut the fish at 5 inches to fit in center along with the sea grass and embossed everything. Keep ur eyes out for #2       ~ Melissa

My 2010 Scrapbook Gallery!

Hey everybody! I decided Im going to share some layouts from my last completed scrapbook from 2010. I dont know about you guys but for me Its much harder to come up with a 2 page layout plan than it is for a card! lol So I thought it would be nice to share some that I have come up with to hopefully give some ideas to others. I will try and post a little detail of each layout from what I remember lol. "Lifes a beach" Layout using Simply Charmed

Hi guys!! Happy Saturday . We are staying at a friends shore house coming up in June so I figured for once Id try to get ahead of myself and create a beach layout which is one place I know we will be! lol I have really been slackin on my scrapbooking due to making so many projects and cards but would like to get back on track so heres another layout using simply charmed cartridge. I used sand color glitter paper for the "sand" and just cut it out by hand and the sun, beach ball and bucket were all cut out at 3 inches . I had to go smaller for the title at 2 inches bc at 3 inches it was too large. I used the top note die from stampin up for a spot to add journaling.
